Bio


Joined Globalfoundries Singapore in 2015 as Senior Member of Technical Staff in charge of the Radio Frequency MEMS technology development roadmap. His technical expertise and interests are in the fields of acoustic MEMS devices, RF Front-end modules, and emerging sensors and actuators.

Prior to Globalfoundries, Dr. Campanella has held various research, engineering and faculty positions at A*STAR (Singapore), Alcatel-Nokia, Millicom International Cellular, CSIC (Spain), Universitat Autonoma de Barcelona (Spain), University of Brescia (Italy).

H. Campanella received his Ph.D. in microelectronics from the Université de Montpellier, France, and his M.Sc. in telecommunications from the Technical University of Madrid (UPM), Spain. He has published 100+ technical papers, conference proceedings, and invited talks in the fields of MEMS and mobile, and has supervised several PhD and MSc students. He is the author of the book “Acoustic Wave and Electromechanical Resonators” (Artech House, Boston, 2010).
